3 x DAMAGED BUG

Checking out a few tracks off the upcoming solo album of American garage rock band
// Thee Oh Sees' // frontman // John Dwyer // as he publishes his latest project // Bunker
Funk // under the name

:: DAMAGED BUG ::

Starting out with the indie garage rock track // Unmanned Scanner //. You can't fool me.
The lights are on and someone's at home, but I didn't check the basement. Love how you
say, "Gasssssssssss," as I parade the street like flies. I kind of like the zany psycho pop
going on, but it takes it out of the hands of the feint hearted & into the died blue hair of
those looking for something a little different than the little different, which continues to
be in evidence in // Slay the Priest //. The drum beat is unapologetically lazy, with an
off focus rhythm that either pulls you along or turns you off, acting as meat in the
sandwich to the final sampling // Bog Dash // arriving, as it does, as some kind of relief.
You're braver than I am if you want to follow the acid tripped out lyrics. Mr Dwyer. How
did you get on with your father? If you want more, the album is due out March 10th,
available to pre-order via the link:
