...beginning with a visual delight of an MV for her recently released single // Overcome // ahead of the May 6th due date for her second album entitled // The Dreaming Room // ...the track is a collaboration with Nile Rodgers, guitarist and co-founder of the late-70's disco band CHIC ...completing the set, a song from last year, inspired by Guy Richie's film // The Man from U.N.C.L.E. // ...here, Mvula's voice is like a cross between the late great Amy Winehouse and Dutch soul singer Sharon Kovacs, and is so reminiscent of a James Bond theme that I was mildly amused to discover that someone else thought the same thing and paired it with "Spectre" ...it works well ...thank you Geoffrey Tizon ...(;
