Taking a look at yesterday through today's eyes via a couple of tentatively connected tracks,
beginning with the iconic British band

:: THE BEATLES ::

and their 1968 song // While My Guitar Gently Weeps // via an MV that marks the 10th
anniversary of Cirque du Soleil's "The Beatles Love Show " at the Mirage Hotel, Las Vegas,
that re-stages George Harrison's acoustic version of the song with a specially commissioned
string arrangement by Sir George Martin, recorded in 2006, before bringing things back to
the present and a recent release from the brotherly American hip hop duo

:: RAE SREMMURD ::

and the collaborative track // Black Beatles // featuring American rapper // Gucci Mane //. Is
it just me, or is a sample of The Jam's "Eton Rifles " running through this? Either way, you'll
be pressing play on this more than once.
